International Corporate Advisory

The International Corporate Advisory Practice Group is one of the main advisory teams of the Firm, and is involved in representing foreign individuals and legal entities investing or carrying out transactions in Peru.

Our advisory is given in every area (commercial, labor and taxes), from organizing and registering of corporate and non-corporate entities, registration of foreign investments and assistance in the execution of legal stability agreements with the Peruvian government, to securing of registration and authorizations of work contracts and their appropriate registration. Some of our lawyers have taken an additional responsibility as members of the board of directors of important companies.

International Trade

Due to the fact that the Peruvian economy is open to the world and that Peru has already executed a free trade agreement with the USA and China, and is in the process of negotiating numerous free trade agreements with many countries, the advice we provide on international trade and customs regulation is of primary importance. Our services include customs conflicts, dumping detection, sanctions to products of countries that impose commercial barriers to Peruvian products and the reimbursement of taxes to exporters. We advise both national and foreign companies that act-either as operators or users-in international trade business, as customs users.

Our practice also comprehends all kind of administrative and legal processes and lawsuits with regard to international trade operations and activities, by advising and supporting developments of exports new projects.
